Step 1: Submit your trade deal requirement in the form of a pro-forma invoice or a sales contract.
Step 2: Next, we, the Letter of Credit Providers will analyze the trade transaction between you and the supplier. We will review based on a few criteria and let you know whether your LC request is approved or not.
Step 3: If it’s approved, we will sign a service agreement with you (between BWT & Client). Along with this, we will also let you know about the service charges to start the work on the transaction.
Step 4: Once you sign the service agreement and pay the admin fee, we will start working on your transaction and will send the LC or DLC draft for your review.
Step 5: Now, you need to check the LC draft to find whether it complies with all the terms or not. If so, you need to provide your approval by sending the signed acknowledged draft along with the LC issuance charges.
Step 6: After receiving the signed draft, and LC issuance charges, we, the Letter of Credit Provider will request their bank to release the required LC. This LC MT700 is issued on behalf of the buyer, i.e. you and in favor of the supplier. This LC is transmitted and forwarded to the supplier’s bank account via Swift MT700. The entire process will not take more than 48 working hours.
